Endless amounts of research (and years of personal experience), in addition to my pharmacy & chemistry background have led me to some wonderful companies that I've been ordering from for years. Not only do I feel their products are pure and consistently high in quality, but I value the way they treat their employees, their agricultural practices, and of course their environmentally-friendly methods. CAN I CREATE MY OWN CUSTOM GIFT SETS?
Yes! All gift sets are fully customizable, down to the ribbon color and label appearance. The "Build your own" gift set is our most popular option. HELP! HOW AND WHEN SHOULD I USE MY FACIAL CARE PRODUCTS?
Having an effective skincare routine is one of the BEST gifts you can give yourself as you age! But with millions of products on the market, it can all be so overwhelming. Our Pure & Simple Facial Care Collection boasts minimal ingredients with maximum benefits, in uncomplicated packaging. In addition, each initial order comes with a "skincare cheat sheet" so you never have to wonder how to use any of your products
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE FOR KIDS?
All of our products are made with natural, plant-based and earth-derived ingredients and are devoid of the toxic, synthetic chemicals typically found in most store-bought products. Having said that, please check the ingredient lists for possible allergens, and always do a patch test first. Consult your child's healthcare provider if you have specific concerns.
WHY AM I NOT RECEIVING MY ORDER CONFIRMATION OR TRACKING EMAILS?
We have worked with technology specialists on our end and have done everything possible to ensure proper email delivery. If you're not receiving these emails, it's because there is something in your settings that's marking our website as "spam". Unfortunately we have no control over this, so please check your junk/spam folder! If you're unable to change your settings, we suggest adding a mobile phone number to your account and selecting the "receive text/SMS updates about my order" option. You can also check your order status and tracking info at any time by logging into your account.
DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM SHOWER FAVORS?
Yes! Please visit our Custom Favors page for photos and details. Basically anything on the website can be turned into a beautiful party favor!
ARE THERE CERTAIN ESSENTIAL OILS THAT I SHOULD BE CAREFUL WITH IF I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN?
There are certain oils (for example cinnamon & clove) that should NEVER be put directly on the skin. They're considered "hot" oils and can easily cause skin irritation and damage, especially when undiluted. You can rest assured that any of our products that contain essential oils only contain "skin-safe" options, and are always used at a very low (and safe) concentration. Essential oils have an enormous amount of benefit when used correctly, and we highly encourage you to learn all you can about this gift from mother nature, then decide for yourself! I LEFT MY SUGAR SCRUB/BODY BUTTER/LIP BALM IN A HOT CAR AND IT MELTED! WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Because we don't use stabilizers, thickeners, or any other synthetic additives, our products containing solid oils and butters are prone to melting if exposed to hot temperatures. No worries! Simply place your product in the fridge for a little while until it reaches the desired consistency. Although some of the products (like the body butters and sugar scrubs) may lose their "whipped" consistency, they will still retain all of their nourishing properties.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY EMPTY GLASS CONTAINERS?
Pure Scents Bath & Body is proud to offer eco-friendly packaging whenever possible. We're so excited to be able to share repurposing ideas for your jars and bottles that we've put together some suggestions for you!
- Refill with your own products and use for travel.
- Countertop holders for Q-tips, toothbrushes, supplements, buttons, paperclips, etc.
- Use as spice jars.
- Fill the spray bottles with household cleaning products and use them throughout the house without having to store large retail bottles (remember to label them well!)
- Use the larger 8 ounce glass jars in your kitchen to store leftover sauces, condiments, nuts, olives, etc.
